Hi! I’m Marcella Peres, a Junior at EARJ Gávea and head chair of the Security Council of TBSRJMUN 2026. MUN not only has been important for me to gain more perspective on global issues and be more knowledgeable regarding societal problems, but has been a place for me to grow my speech, communication and creativity and where I made friends that I cherish until nowadays. Other than doing MUN and loving the Security Committee since 2024, where I first started as a delegate, I love watching thriller movies, like Prisoners, creating specific playlists in my spotify, and playing on my piano and ukulele. Lorena Gonzalez

​Hello everyone! My name is Lorena Gonzales, I am currently a junior at The British School of Rio de Janeiro, Urca Site, and I will be serving as your Chair for the Security Council at TBSRJ 2026. MUN has become something I genuinely enjoy because it combines my interests in international affairs, politics, history, and solving real-world problems. Through MUN, I have been able to explore new perspectives and connect with people who share my curiosity about the world. Apart from MUN, I love spending time at the beach, playing and listening to music, and being with my friends.I am excited to meet all of you and create an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas. Giovanna Linhares

Hi! My name is Giovanna Linhares, I am currently a junior at Escola Eleva Barra and I am delighted to chair this year’s Security council alongside Marcela and Lorena! My journey in MUN has been defined not only by a growing interest in international affairs, but has also been marked by the lifelong friendships I’ve cherished in different conferences, reminding me that diplomacy begins with human connection. Beyond MUN, I am passionate about singing, acting, and I love hanging out with my friends or spending time with my cat. I am looking forward to meeting you all and I hope to create a welcoming environment where all delegates are comfortable to speak out and form new connections.
