It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to the twenty-third edition of TBSRJMUN, proudly hosted at The British School of Rio de Janeiro’s Barra campus. The secretariat has been working with dedication to craft a conference that is both meaningful and memorable. In the world of diplomacy, true progress is not born of conflict, but of empathy, collaboration, and a sincere effort to understand diverse viewpoints. As delegates, your role extends beyond representing nations—you are also ambassadors of global dialogue and mutual respect. This year’s conference features a dynamic range of committees. For those looking to sharpen their diplomatic skills, we are pleased to offer classic forums such as the UN Councils. For delegates seeking innovation and challenge, our Special Committees will provide unique opportunities for creative problem-solving. Additionally, our Junior Committees are designed to guide and inspire younger participants as they begin their Model UN journey in a supportive environment. We are also excited to feature the Press Corps committee, where delegates will dive into the world of media, reporting on the conference as it unfolds and gaining insight into the role of journalism in international affairs and photographers framing the event. Our venueThe twenty-third edition of TBSRJMUN will take place at The British School, Rio de Janeiro – Barra Unit, a modern and welcoming campus located in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of the city.
The Barra site offers a dynamic environment for debate, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Delegates will have access to spacious committee rooms, designated areas for press and admin teams, and common spaces designed to foster interaction and reflection. Surrounded by nature and easily accessible, the our venue reflects the school’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and global citizenship.
